Are you trained and/or certified as a peer specialist or peer worker in the behavioral health field?


University of Illinois at ChicagoWe invite you to participate in an important peer career development research survey designed in collaboration with national consumer technical assistance centers and peer organizations. The survey asks about peer specialists’ career development; interest in and opportunities for advancement; current work climate; and perceptions of discrimination and stigma. Survey results will provide ground-breaking data on peer career development realities and opportunities.

We will share the findings widely throughout the behavioral health community.

What: We invite peer workers and certified peer specialists to complete an online research survey of primarily short-answer questions. It will take about 30 minutes to complete the survey.

Who: Peer workers including certified peer specialists and anyone working now or who has worked in a peer worker role (titles include peer bridger, peer liaison, etc.)
