Last week The Copeland Center hosted their WRAP Around the World Conference in Washington D.C. It was a full week of wonderful, engaging sessions that brought the WRAP community together in a positive, enjoyable forum.
In her keynote address, Mary Ellen Copeland, PhD, talked about her own WRAP journey, how this powerful plan was developed then evolved, and also shared some fun, influential stories. A video version of this dynamic speech will be available soon on our website and YouTube channel!
Many conference goers also participated in the Mental Health Dignity March. The goal of the march was to convey that mental health is as a basic human right, and that those who experience mental health issues deserve to be treated with dignity. What a beautiful day for many individuals to come together and rally at the National Mall. The march has helped to strengthen and energize our community.
